THANK YOU GIRLS
I just want to say a BIG Thank You to 3 very good friends I've made since blogging - Tracy (ellabella), Maddie (Maddiescreations) + Becky (Beckys Happy Crafting Space) for the gorgeous Birthday cards and goodies you sent me, I was so over whelmed when I opened them this morning. Thank you girls you are all so very kind and you have all become very good friends.
I've had a great day and received some lovely goodies, gorgeous cards and money (to spend on crafting goodies). I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my man and we're off to Brighton next weekend and will be going shopping for my pressie then, as they have some lovely shops, (no not crafting goodies) hopefully some sparkly...
So I spent the afternoon having play with all my new goodies and especially one little gadget... scrow down and you'll see......

Tilda + Co - Eye Eye Its A Natural Thing
Hi hope you've all had a good weekend. I spend most of the today catching up on blog hopping and then to my surprise was taken out for a lovely lunch.
I then spend a while making this card for Tilda & Co Challenge - Eye Eye Its a Natural Thing. When I saw the challenge it gave me the inspiration to get some of my floristry stash out and have a play with some sizzel and raffia. Well I started off ok and had so much inspiration and then all of a sudden I stopped dead in the middle.. arrrhhhh, so I took a step back, went back to it and ended up with this.
I wanted to use Natural colours and my new cat, and thought I'd only use beige and brown, but then added the green on Tilda and wasn't sure I was doing the right thing, but didn't want to give up so I carried on. Still not sure I like it much... maybe I'll have another ago later in the week.

Although I lost my mojo somewhere along the way, I had a really great time using my floristry stash that I haven't used in ages. I will definately use these materials again and maybe next time I'll try some coloured wire and feathers.

A Little Piece Of Altered Art
I've been meaning to decorate this tin for a while now and wanted to use it for all the lovely ribbons I've brought lately from Poppicrafts, as my other ribbon tin is full. I know I'm made about ribbons.... but its good to have a nice selection - well that's what I tell myself anyway, lol
So as I'm using it to store my new ribbons, I decided to decorated it with a few of them. I made a ribbon flower (my first one too) for the top of the tin and had great fun making it too... I felt like I had achieved something, I know it sounds silly but their such good fun to make. I didn't want to completely decorate it so only used 2 pieces of ribbon for the base and added a few flowers here and there to fill in the gaps.
Thanks for stopping by and I'd also like to thank everyone who visits me and for your lovely comments x

Tilda + Co Challenge - Girlie but Blue
Hi hope you've all had a good weekend. I've been having problems with my Laptop again, its on go slow and definately needs me to take it to PC World for a check up... I've been reluctant all week about taking it in as I know I'll be lost without it, but the amount of problems I've been having today I have now decided I need to. So if I dont visit everyone much this week I apologise and will catch up when its fixed.
I made a card this afternoon for Tilda + Co Challenge - Girlie but Blue
I decided to use this beautiful glittery paper (sorry can't remember where its from) as its very girle but blue !! aso is perfect for this challenge. Tilda has beed coloured in Sparkly Chalks - although I love them, I'm still trying to get used to using them and am finding them quite difficult - practice makes perfect I guess.
Thanks for stopping by :-)x

Flowers + Ribbon
I've been playing today with my new supplies from Poppicrafts - dotty flowers and ribbon. If you haven't checked out Michelle's fabulous goodies at Popicrafts - then I recommend a visit here, but have your credit card ready as you will not be able to resist. She has some fabulously yummy new ribbons and spotty flowers.
So on these cards I decided 'no images' and must say I had loads of fun creating them with mainly flowers and ribbon. So here they are - please feel free to tell me what you think.
This one I'm sending to my mum becasue she loves green and I'm hoping she like it.
Have a good weekend all :-)x

Sisterhood Of Blogging Stampers - SBS17
Hi everyone, hope our enjoying the weekend. Well the news is I'm now a member for the SBS17 and really excited about meeting some fellow sisters. And yes of course my banner is Pink, for those of you that dont know me, this is my favourite colour. And be prepared to see lots of pink, although I am trying more and more to use other colours... as it's not a great colour for boys.
I started making cards last year when I made my first batch of Christmas Cards for friends and family, and now Im hooked. I started my blog in January 2008 and I must say I'm not sure what's more addictive - crafting or blogging. I have made some wonderful friends on my journey of crafting and blogging, and thanks to them and all the wonderful challenges I have started to venture out on other projects - Altered Art, ATC's and now I'm in the middle of making my first Scrapbook for my Aunt's 60th Birthday (Mums Sister).
Welcome girls to SBS17 - looking forward to getting to know you all.
Happy Crafting

Fab's Big Christmas Challenge + PTW - All That Glitter
Hi everyone, hope your all having a good week. I had a play at the weekend making 4 Christmas Cards for Fab's Big Christmas Challenge. I've been meaning to participate for a while but never seem to find the time to do everything. So at the weekend I decided to do it and had so much fun playing with my Pink Petticoat - Doodle-icioys Christmas papers and images.
These are my favourites as they are such pretty colour papers and not traditional for Christmas and nothing like I did last year.
These 2 I am entering into Papertake Weekly Challenge - All That Glitter.
The papers are also PP and the images are from PP - Lola Occasions and I have used my glitter pens to give her some extra sparkle.

Tilda + Co Challenge - Ribbon Galore
Well what a day I've had, it started off well and managed to make a card for the Tilda + Co Challenge by about 2pm but then I dropped my laptop and the problems started. I had to reload Windows Vista and in the process lost everthing on my PC... arrrhhhhh !!!!
Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to see what everyone has made now. :-)x
I was ok as my pictures of the cards I make are on my blog but then I realised I had lost all my Pink Petticoat Downloads, Hybird Downloads :-( I just cant believe my luck... I am so annoyed with myself, that's gonna cost me a lot of money to replace them ... and as Im writing this I've just realised I have lots all our pics of holiday last year in St Lucia :-(
Oh well, it could have been worse I could have broken the Laptop and then I would have been more arrrrhhhhhh !!!! I've just got to remember all the fab websites I visit aswell to buy my crafting goodies as there not all listed on my blog.
Well enough of my moaning, here's my card I made earlier - I used Prima Hybird Papers and the ribbon is from my stash. The challenge was to use as many ribbons as you wish, so I have punched a boarder down the left side and added six ribbons as well as the one in the centre and besides Tilda.
Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to see what everyone has made now. :-)x
