Penny Black 25 ~ No Patterned Paper

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good week.

Its time again for Penny Black Saturday Challenge and before I tell you about this weeks challenge, I'd like to thank you all for your wonderful entries to last weeks ~ Funky Christmas~ challenge, you all made some fabulous creations again and am looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge ~ No Patterned Paper

We thought we'd challenge you this week to create some without using those gorgoeus patterned papers we always use ~ so get creative and have fun !!

For my card (although you can't see it in my pic) I have made a card using acetate and thanks to my friend Kath I was able to use her fabulous technique for the ribbon. I've embossed the white DP with snowflakes folder from Cuttlebug.

We have another fabulous prize this week which I've donated ~some gorgoeus embellishment pack from Poppicrafts ~ if your interested why not take a peek and also look at all the wonderful card the very talented Design Team have come up with again this week.

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good weekend and not had too much snow ~ we had none :(

I'm not that sad really as its work tomorrow and I hate driving in the snow

After miserable weather today, I managed to get a little crafting done today. I can't show you them all though as some are for my DT work at Poppicrafts but these will come later..... and I'll back with the other card tomorrow.

Sketch Saturday ~ Wk 26

Thanks to everyone who joined in last week ~ I am amazed at the response every week, it no wonder Jo's sketchs are always so great to work with. I want to apologise for not being able to visit you all ~ life is just so busy lately ~ but I will try harder.

Well Jo has created another fabulous sketch this week ~ thanks hun.

I had lots of fun with this sketch again this week and thought I'd get Charlie out of his packaging as i haven't had a chance to use him yet. Oh and what a pleasure it was to colour him ~ and I can't beleive how quick I put this card together this week.

I brought some new gorgeous Filigrees from Eggstravaganza (thanks for the link Bev) and really wanted to use some of them on my card, but realised I didn't have a snowflake punch big enough to place behind them, so went with some white flowers ~ well they sort of look a little like snowflakes, lol......

And here's a close up of the very cute Charlie..... don't you just love him !!

Magnolia v Stampative, WOJ + CCT

Hi everyone, hope our all well and having a good week.

I did a little crafting at the weekend for 3 challenges - wow I can't beleive it myself.

I have lots of new stamps and couldn't stop myself from having a little play, lol

There a great sketch this week and I just couldn't resist using one of my new stamps from the Magnolia ~ Christmas/Winter Club Kit ~

I think I should have coloured Tildas coat in a more darker red ~ doesn't really match the gorgeous ribbon ~ and as always thought about this after I put the card together, lol ...... and didn't want to mess it up - so will have to do this time.

For this card I used one of the really cute snowmen from Sugar Nellie - just love these beauties.

I've used an old sketch I think from FS, which I didn't have a chance to play so thought I'd give it a go now and really had fun with this one.

Sorry I'm late again with my card for Sketch Saturday - I just couldn't get a good picture last night, so had to give up... I'm still not sure this one is ok ~ but I had to go with it.

Hi everyone, hope your all having a good week. I have 2 cards to show you today for 2 challenges.

My first is for Friday Sketches - I had lots of fun with this one and realised I haven't played along in a while.

I used my new Tilda from the Christmas Winter Collection - I ordered the club kit but haven't received it yet :( and was itching to buy this little beauty so I took a trip to the Glitter Box, lol

I used on of my favourite stamp from WOJ ~ Melinda Reading Book, she's coloured with Pro Markers and I glittered her wings stickles.

I glittered the embossed white DP with Glamour Dust - doesn't show very clear in the pic.

My grandad has been taken into hospital again. When he was sent home last time we thought he was on the mend, but these past few days he's been getting worse.
