Hope everyone has had a good weekend. This weeks challenge at Stamp Something is a fabulous sketch by Katharina - which I always love.
I chose to use my new Sugar Nellie Stamp - Sweet Ebony Range: Picking Apples, as I thought they fitted perfectly with the papers. These are some of many new papers I brought yesterday on my shopping trip. They are by PaperCellar - Wedding Range, not something I would have brought 6 months ago, but I seem to have changed my style a bit lately and I'm trying to experiment with new stuff. Its good fun as Im working out of my comfort zone and feel like Im giving myself a challenge, but still having fun along the way.
I've coloured Sweet Ebony with a mixture of pencils and tombo pens - I still need more practice with my colouring , but I guess practice makes perfect - even if I have a long way to go, lol x
The sentiment from Hero Arts and the ribbon of course is from Poppicrafts.
This time I decided to decorate the inside of my card, and have used papers from the same collection. The swirls are from Studio G - pack of 5 for 99p from my local craft shop. This is the first time I've stamped directly onto patterned paper and cant believe I didn't do a bad job of it. The flower and button is from my stash.
And here's the inside:
Have a great evening, TFL x
