Penny Black 60 ~ Summer

Hi everyone and a Happy Saturday to you all... hope you've all had a great week..... what has happened to our summer hey.. not much sunshine in London last week :( and it looks like there's not much to come either ... roll on our winter vacation in the sun.... Im counting the days.

Im so sorry for the lateness of my post today but I lost my connection completely last night and have had trouble with it all week .. one minute it'll work the next we lost it... and it's getting very frustrating now..... so I apologise for the lack of blogging last week and hope things will get sorted soon.

Well it's time for another fabulous challenge at Penny Black....thanks to everyone that joined us with our Recipe challenge last week.... just wish i was able to visit you all... but Im sure you all created some fabulous cards. So onto this weeks challenge...

SUMMER

Im sure with lack of sunshine we're having, this challenge will be a nice one to brighten up our spirits... Hope you'll have as much fun as I did with it. This adorable Kitty was sent to me from my good friend Tracy ~ thanks hun.... thought he would be perfect for this weeks challenge and have matched him up with these gorgeous papers from BG ~ Urban Prairie and finished off with a few of my favourite blooms.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good week... and the weather has be kinder to you than it has to us here in London... lots of rain and little sunshine... although we did have a little Friday night and hope it continues for the weekend.

Thanks to everyone who joined in last week with our Soft & Sweet challenge... and so many gorgeous entries again from you all... so sorry for not being able to get round to you at the end of the week.. would you believe after finaly getting my internet connection sorted out at home.... it went down whilst at my OH on Wed and haven't been able to get online till last night... nightmare !!!

Anyway onto this weeks challenge and we have another great one for you... a little....

Recipe: 3 Ribbons, 2 Flowers, 1 Charm/Pin

I decided to go with a soft again this as I wanted to use my new BG ~ Lemonade Paper Pad ... also after making my SS card I wanted something a little different.. and you'll see why later... I love love this adorable Teddie and think he looks perfect with soft colours and textures. I've cheated a little a replaced some of the ribbon with Raffia and Lace... so Im sure it'll be ok if you want to do the same....

My card came together rather quickly this week... which was great.. as it normally takes me some time...

I love the rich colours of these gogeous BG ~ Wisteria papers and am pleased with the outcome.. apart from the colour of Tilda's dress which has come out a little more blue than purple.. oh well too late now. All

Hi everyone, hope your all well and had a good weekend.

I managed to find some time the weekend (a first for a while) to do a little crafting and even managed to make my DT cards... oh I know don't fall over in shock.. as if you know me you'll know I always leave things the the last minute.. its not always intensional..

Anyway I also found some time to make a card for one of my favourites challenges:

I used my favourite Tilda.... I know she's one of the older ones.. but she makes me smile when I use her. I did however have a little spending spree the weekend and ordered some newish Tilda's.. although I'm waiting on the new Summer Kit to be released as I missed out on the Magnolia ~ Summer Club Kit this year.

Penny Black 57 ~ Swirls & Sketch Saturday 59

Morning everyone and a happy Saturday to you all... wow I can't believe where this week has gone.. but so glad its the weekend. Well is time for another Penny Black Saturday Challenge, and thanks to everyone who entered last week.. from those of you I managed to visit (as I still had limited internet last week) you all created some fabulous work again.

I'm please to tell you I finally have my new wireless router set up at home now.. managed to set it up last night so Im looking forward to being able to visit you all again... as Ive been a very bad blogger these past couple of weeks.

So onto this weeks challenge:

Swirls

This can be stamping...embossing or die cuts....get your thinking caps on and we look forward to seeing what you create

As always you can make a card..altered art...bag...notebook...box etc the only rule being that you use at least one Penny Black image or sentiment.

So I decide to create a sentiment card this week and started with these gorgeous papers from Papermania ~ Blue Vintage Floral.... They do look more fabulous in daylight but I just couldn't get a decent picture this morning.. will try again later.

My swirls are on the paper and I also cut 4 swirls with a puchie ~ Flourish Swirls and glued 2 together to create a larger swirl and finished it with a Pearl...
