For my card I've used some new gorgeous papers I brought last week by Basic Grey ~ Wisteria... they are so yummy and couldn't resist a little purple this week and a good opportunity to use some of my gorgeous satin ribbon from Poppicrafts and to ink up the fabulous 'Anya' one of my birthday pressies....

Friday Sketchers 51 meets Stamp Something ~ Pink

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a good week... well I can't believe I found some time to join in a challenge this week (and not a DT card).

Friday Sketchers has a fabulous sketch this week by the lovely and very talented Carole and so I couldn't resist having a little play ~ and to support my friend too..

I also saw that Stamp Something has a fabulous theme this week ~ Pink~ well how could I resist this one too.... it is my favourite colour, and my friend Marcea is on the DT so thought it was about time I played along as its been forever since I joined on of their challenges.

So here's what I came up with:

I've used my favourite elements on this card.... BG papers ~ Bittersweet, Tilda, Poppicraft Flowers, Pearls, Rafia and something new too.. I found these gorgeous Pearl Wires (Im not sure thats the right name, lol) at Hobby Craft and then realised after, like a nut I am sometimes, that I have a stash of these in my Floristry toolbox from when I used to do my Flower Arranging... what a wally I am.... all this time hidden in a box for no one to see ... well they've seen the light now, so Im sure you're be seeing more of them again soon.

Sketch Saturday 50

Well its time for another challenge but first I'd like to say thanks to everyone who joined in on Debbie's gorgeous sketch last week and wow what a fabulous response too... I guess you all love Debbie's sketch as much as we all did.

I really enjoy these challenges every week and can't believe how time has flown as we're at week 50 already... almost a year since Jo posted her first sketch.

I thought I'd give the Pink a rest this week as I so often us it and I'm sure your all getting sick of seeing so much PINK so here's my creation of Brown, Yellow & Blue.....

I brought some new online digi papers this week from Nitwit Collection, they have a lovely selection of gorgeous papers and are very resonable priced too... which is always a bonus.... these papers are from the 'In The Meadow Too' range. And considering there's no pink on my card... Im loving it as much.

Penny Black 47 ~ Shapes & Sketch Saturday 49 ~ Debbies DT Week

Morning everyone, hope your all well and had a good week. Firstly I'd like to say a massive THANK YOU for all your Birhtday wishes and for all the wonderful gifts and cards I received from my fellow friends... I sure have been spoilt this year and am going to have lots of fun with all my new creating goodies.. I'll pop back later to share with all some of the gorgeous cards i received.

Well its saturday and time for another Penny Black Challenge... sorry Im late with my post this morning, had to wait to get a picture in daylight as I was still finishing my card this morning..... well thanks to everyone that joined us last week for our 'Anything Goes' challenge ~ lots of wonderful creations again.
