A Couple of Cards

Afternoon everyone, hope you're all enjoying the weekend and having a restful Sunday.

Wow I can't believe I haven't joined in any challenges for over 4 weeks now.... only having the time to do DT cards.....which I'll be back with later of my last addition to Poppicrafts.....

So last night I sat down and thought I'd have a go at a couple of challenges:

WOJ Challenge ~ Sketch

I really should make more time to join in these challenges, I really do love these gorgeous stamps and they DT always provide such fabulous work. Anyway this week they have a fabulous sketch, which I had so much fun with ~ thanks girls.....

Oh I love this little Henry ~ isn't he a cutie.... and this card I made for someone very special who's birthday is coming up soon.

Basic Grey Challenge ~ Receipe

This is the first time I've joined this fabulous challenge ~ and this week they have a gorgeous receipe for everyone. And a gorgeous prize for one lucky winner..... why not pop over and take a peek.

The papers are 2 designs of the Scarlet Letter range ~ oh I just love these papers and thought they would be perfect for a Valentines card for my OH. The buttons and brads are all Basic Grey ~ just not sure which range (sorry) !!! The red ribbon is from my stash, but the red fibre is BG ~ Figgy.

I also decorated the inside of this one too.....

The sentiment on the front and inside is from Pink Petticoat ~ Old Fashioned Girl

Penny Black 33 ~ Frame It + Sketch Saturday 35

Hi everyone, hope you're all well and had a good week.

Although I came up with this theme/or was it Tracy ~ oh I can't remember.... anyway I found it a little tricky at first and thought OMG what have I done setting this challenge ..... but after a little thinking and playing around I got there - thanks to my faithful Cuttlebug & Nestabilities...

I'm afrad I cheated this week and used a sticker... come to think of it I think I used one last week ~ oh well it made my card a little quicker..... and I just love these cute froggies...

Penny Black 32 ~ Lets Get Dotty & Sketch Saturday

Hi everyone, yes I'm still here.... just no time to craft again last week.

I haven't been feeling that great again, so have been trying to rest as much as possible.

This week we want you all to go Dotty mad, this can be on paper, ribbon, embellishments ... anything really - just have fun !!!

I used a new Pink Petticoat download ~ Mini Little Big Dots, I just love these papers.... I've been making some Valentines card for Poppicrafts a few weeks, which you'll get to see in a couple of days.. and really wanted to follow with my Red & Black theme - just love this colour combo....

Well I'm sure you'll guess - but I'll tell you anyway, all the embellishements can be found at Poppicrafts - why not pop over and see Michelle's fabulous new range of crafting goodies.

This week I thought I'd decorate the inside of my card, I really love this idea as it really finishes the card off - lets see how long I can keep this up.... lol, I always do the back of my card (just never show it)....... but love how the inside personalises the card..

I've just my new WOJ ~ Daisy Celebrating Duck image, just loving these new images and can't wait for the new Spring Stamp Kit, which Katharina is taking pre-oders here, but don't delay.....go take a peek.

Well its a little different to my first card - thought I'd go with a pastel look to compliment this gorgoeus image - the papers are by Daisy Bucket Designs and I only picked them up at my local craft shop yesterday, but couldn't wait to have alittle play - yes I know I was still making my DT card last night - nothing unusual there, lol

SKETCH SATURDAY ~ WK 32 (DT Week ~ Emma)

Well this week its the very talented Emma's turn for DT Week and what a fabulous sketch she had created this week ~ Thanks Emma I had lots of fun with this one....

I kept my card simple this week as didn't have much time to make it, works so busy and we're looking at moving to a new home soon so have been house hunting, and I'm please to say the one we're looking at this afternoon seems promising... so fingers crossed.....
